A Gospel outreach of De Oppresso Liber Ministries

Come As
You Are.

If you are searching for hope, peace, forgiveness, or a fresh start, you are not here by accident. You can be saved, forgiven, and completely made new today.

Hear the good news
2 Corinthians 5:17“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

Your past is over.

Your new life
starts now.

You do not need to clean up your life before coming to Jesus. You do not need to pretend, perform, or become worthy first.

Jesus meets you exactly where you are—but He loves you too much to leave you there. His grace forgives your past, gives you a new identity, and welcomes you into the family of God and His eternal Kingdom.

How to be saved

The three-step reality.

The Gospel is not advice about how to improve yourself. It is the good news of what Jesus has already done to rescue you.

01Romans 3:23

The Problem

We have all walked away from God. Our sin has broken our relationship with Him, and none of us can repair that separation through good works or effort alone.

02Romans 5:8

The Rescue

Jesus Christ came to earth, lived without sin, died on the cross in our place, and rose from the dead. He conquered sin and death so we could be reconciled to God.

03Romans 10:9

The Response

Salvation is God’s free gift. Receive it by turning to Jesus, trusting that He is Lord, believing He rose from the dead, and committing your life to follow Him.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

Pray this right now

Talk to Jesus honestly.

A prayer cannot save you by the words alone. Jesus saves. If these words express the sincere faith of your heart, say them to Him out loud or quietly where you are.

“Jesus, I know I have made mistakes, and I need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Today, I turn away from my old life. I accept Your free gift of salvation. Be my Savior, my Lord, and my guide. Amen.”

Step two · Acts 8:36

“Look, here is water.”

In Acts 8, a traveler heard the good news about Jesus and immediately asked, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” They stopped beside the road, and he was baptized.

Baptism is your public declaration of faith. It pictures your old life being buried and your new life with Christ beginning. Baptism does not purchase salvation—Jesus already paid the price. It is an obedient response from someone who has believed.

What happens next?

You will not walk alone.

Following Jesus is a new life, not a one-time moment. Discipleship means learning to trust Him one day at a time with people who care about your growth.

The invitation is only the beginning.

De Oppresso Liber means “to free the oppressed.” We believe true freedom begins with Jesus Christ—freedom from sin, shame, fear, condemnation, and the belief that your past must define your future.

Come As You Are invites people to Jesus. De Oppresso Liber Ministries helps them learn to follow Him through discipleship, spiritual formation, community, and a life of service.
