Our declaration
Jesus Christ is Lord over the House of Perez.
Every decision, every dollar, every investment, every home, every business, and every future generation belongs first to Him. Our confidence is not in an asset, but in the One who owns all things.
Matthew 7:24The preamble
This is our “why.”
“The House of Perez exists to glorify God by faithfully stewarding every resource He entrusts to us—our faith, our marriage, our family, our finances, our time, our influence, and our opportunities—so that future generations may know Christ, flourish in wisdom, and continue building upon a strong foundation.”
Every future decision will be measured against it.
Our mission
To build a multigenerational family that is—
Spiritually grounded, financially resilient, relationally close, physically healthy, emotionally mature, generous toward others, and free to serve God without unnecessary financial bondage.
The 100-year vision
They may never meet us. They can still benefit from what we build today.
- The Perez family is known for integrity.
- Children and grandchildren love being together.
- Marriages are healthy and faith is authentic.
- Wealth is stewarded wisely and businesses are operated ethically.
- Debt is used carefully and giving is generous.
- Every generation leaves the next stronger than it found it.
That is success.
The seven principles
The constitution of every future decision.
Christ Is Lord
Everything belongs to God. We own nothing permanently; we steward everything temporarily.
Family Is Our Greatest Earthly Investment
Time with family is not an interruption to life. It is life. Money exists to support relationships—not replace them.
Freedom Is More Valuable Than Status
We choose lasting freedom over appearances and accept delayed gratification when it strengthens the generations that follow.
We Build, We Do Not Gamble
We seek productive and scarce assets, resist fear and greed, and make decisions we can live with when markets disappoint us.
Liquidity Creates Opportunity
Preparedness allows us to weather storms, help family, recognize opportunity, and avoid decisions made from desperation.
Time Is Our Greatest Asset
Compounding rewards patience. We think in decades, prepare faithfully, and refuse to let short-term noise govern long-term purpose.
Legacy Is Greater Than Net Worth
If we leave wealth but lose our family, we have failed. Faith, wisdom, love, and resilience are the inheritance that matters most.
Our definition of wealth
Money supports what matters. It never replaces it.
We do not measure the strength of this house by dollars alone. True wealth is the life, character, relationships, and capacity for generosity entrusted to the family.

The House of Perez Creed
What we choose to believe and practice.
We believe that every good gift comes from God and that we are called to steward, not merely possess.
We believe faith is our foundation, family is our first ministry, and integrity is our greatest earthly asset.
We choose wisdom over impulse, discipline over comfort, and service over status.
We seek freedom not for selfish ambition, but so that we may love generously, give joyfully, and stand faithfully when others cannot.
We will build patiently, invest prudently, and prepare diligently—not because tomorrow is certain, but because stewardship requires faithfulness today.
We measure success not only by what we accumulate, but by the character we cultivate, the people we strengthen, and the legacy we leave behind.
We will strive to leave every generation of the House of Perez stronger in faith, wiser in judgment, richer in love, and better equipped for the future than the generation before.
Our family prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, build this house.
Father,
May this house never worship wealth. May it never trust in riches more than Your providence.
Give us wisdom when others are reckless, courage when others are fearful, generosity when others are selfish, and humility when we experience success.
Let every asset we acquire become another opportunity to serve, bless, and disciple.
And when future generations remember the House of Perez, may they remember not merely what we owned, but whom we served.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. Amen.
A charge to those who come after us
Build higher than we did. Love deeper than we did. Serve more faithfully than we did. Leave the House of Perez stronger than you received it.
With love,
Johnny & Angela PerezThe covenant in action
What we receive by grace, we are called to use in service.
De Oppresso Liber Ministries is one expression of that calling—a developing ministry devoted to freedom in Christ, disciplined discipleship, and service to people carrying burdens they were never meant to carry alone.
